The Broken Mirror is a modern fable about Claire, a young girl who escapes her troubled family life by visiting a dump behind her house. There she discovers a broken mirror with magical powers that transforms ordinary reality into a beautiful fairy-tale world. As Claire grows older, the mirror continues to show her an idealized version of life, hiding the harsh truths around her—such as urban development destroying libraries and the complicated nature of relationships. Eventually, with the help of a mysterious boy named Peter, she begins to question these illusions and searches for the truth behind the mirror’s fragments.
