In Origin, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon travels to the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao to attend a major announcement by his former student, billionaire futurist Edmond Kirsch. Kirsch claims to have discovered groundbreaking answers to two of humanity’s most profound questions: Where do we come from? and Where are we going?
However, just before he can reveal his discovery to the world, Kirsch is assassinated. Langdon, along with museum director Ambra Vidal, flees the scene and begins a dangerous quest across Spain to unlock Kirsch’s secret. Their journey takes them to iconic locations such as Gaudí’s Sagrada Família and the cryptic tombs of historical figures, while they race against time and powerful enemies. The novel explores the intersection of science, religion, and artificial intelligence, challenging the reader to reflect on the future of humanity.
